Thank you all those who have supported the Wednesday Waveley Cafe
It has been a tremendous success and now it’s time to promote the aims of gaining work experience and social engagement to new heights
The group will now be organising events along with refreshments and IT and learning how to use equipment. How to engage others and continue to build confidence Evaluation has proved that music and singing have stimulated so much of that connection and confidence
The aim is also to be fully inclusive with groups across Wiltshire who are only available on Thursdays. Therefore the cafe will now be held on Thursday mornings at Westwood Social Club using music and kareoke. The entry fee is £3, carers free.
Help build strengths, friendships, confidence and social engagement. Come visit us from 1st October and on every Thursday morning. 10.40 to 12.30
Additional events organised already are
Wednesday 28th October. Halloween party with live music supported by Imperial Charity. Entrance Fee £3

💜 💜 HELP US SUPPORT OUR SEN SESSIONS
This is not a SEN session — it’s a standard public, adults-only night of live music.
We’re holding this event as a way to raise awareness and additional funds for Kay-OSS, helping us towards the cost of the SEN sessions and experiences we’re hoping to provide for families, particularly as we head towards Christmas. 🎄💜
As with all of our events, there are costs involved in putting the evening on, including the band and venue, so the funds raised from the evening will contribute towards these costs first, with any proceeds helping us continue providing extra details towards our SEN sessions and creating more memories for our families.
So come along, enjoy a fantastic night of live music, grab a drink, and help us raise some extra Kay-OSS awareness & hopefully funds!
⸻
⚠️ IMPORTANT — THIS IS A STANDARD PUBLIC BAND NIGHT
This event is very different from our SEN sessions.
It is an 18+ public event with a live band and is expected to be:
🔊 Loud
👥 Potentially crowded
💡 A typical live music environment
🍺 People drinking
There will be no SEN-specific adjustments or low-sensory environment for this event.
SEN adults are, of course, welcome to attend as members of the public, but please consider whether a standard live band environment will be suitable for you/your party before attending.
