💛 A term-time session inspired for SEN, Home Education Support, Pre-School & Post-16

💷 £13 per child/young adult, including supporting adult
🌈 Stay as long as you like!

Come along and enjoy some time in each other’s company while we create, explore and play in a relaxed and welcoming environment. 💛

This session has an animal-inspired theme for our arts and crafts, with lots of colourful activities to choose from:

🪼 Make a paper plate jellyfish
🦋 Have a go at symmetrical butterfly painting
🐝 Create pipe cleaner dragonflies
🦎 Make a colourful tissue-paper chameleon

And once we’ve finished getting creative, we can all enjoy some lunch together. 🥪🍎

🥪 LUNCH

We’ll provide a simple lunchbox consisting of:

• Sandwich
• Yoghurt
• Packet of crisps
• Piece of fruit
• Cup of squash

If you’d prefer to bring your own lunch, that’s absolutely fine — particularly if you have specific dietary requirements. Please consider major allergies when bringing food into a shared space.

After lunch, we can decide what we’d like to do next! 🌳

We might burn some energy off in the garden, or, weather permitting, head out together for a walk to the local park.

We’ll finish the session with some relaxed fun — perhaps singing, dancing or simple games, depending on what everyone fancies.

There is no expectation to take part in everything. 😊

A CALM, LOW-PRESSURE SESSION

This is a welcoming, low-pressure environment where everyone is free to join in as much or as little as they like.

We provide a calm, understanding space where difference is respected and celebrated.

Sometimes joining in means getting stuck into the crafts, sometimes it means having a dance, exploring outside, chatting with others — and sometimes it simply means sitting back and watching. All are welcome.

💛 Ages 2–18 years (with flexibility)

💛 Under 2s are free, but still require booking for capacity purposes.

Please also include any additional adults attending when booking.

This event is open to everyone, but is designed with SEN users in mind.

We kindly ask that all attendees are respectful of others at all times. No judgement, comments or behaviour towards anyone perceived as “different” will be tolerated.

Kindness is essential.

Please note that this session is not staffed.

A responsible adult must remain on-site and supervise their child/young person at all times.

Kay-OSS provides the activities and inclusive environment but does not provide 1:1 care or supervision.

💜 💜 HELP US SUPPORT OUR SEN SESSIONS

This is not a SEN session — it’s a standard public, adults-only night of live music.

We’re holding this event as a way to raise awareness and additional funds for Kay-OSS, helping us towards the cost of the SEN sessions and experiences we’re hoping to provide for families, particularly as we head towards Christmas. 🎄💜

As with all of our events, there are costs involved in putting the evening on, including the band and venue, so the funds raised from the evening will contribute towards these costs first, with any proceeds helping us continue providing extra details towards our SEN sessions and creating more memories for our families.

So come along, enjoy a fantastic night of live music, grab a drink, and help us raise some extra Kay-OSS awareness & hopefully funds!

⚠️ IMPORTANT — THIS IS A STANDARD PUBLIC BAND NIGHT

This event is very different from our SEN sessions.

It is an 18+ public event with a live band and is expected to be:

👥 Potentially crowded
💡 A typical live music environment
🍺 People drinking

There will be no SEN-specific adjustments or low-sensory environment for this event.

SEN adults are, of course, welcome to attend as members of the public, but please consider whether a standard live band environment will be suitable for you/your party before attending.
